New entries on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:

  • September 20 – Matthew Wayne Jacobs, 28, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a petition to revoke a suspended sentence on a conviction of felony possession of a controlled substance obtained by fraud or deceit. He was being held without bond.

  • September 20 – Timothy Ray Byers, 42, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor theft. His bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Wayman JR Blazier was the arresting officer.

  • September 20 – Dante Q. Gordon, 20, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued out of Sullivan County in a case involving felony burglary and misdemeanor theft and criminal mischief. He was being held without bond, then transferred. Linton Police Officer Logan Hobbs was the arresting officer.

  • September 20 – Amanda Joann Pierce, 28, Jasonville, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor criminal trespassing. Her bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. Jasonville Police Sgt. Brian Pilant was the arresting officer.

  • September 20 – Jerry Thomas Goodwin, 39, Spencer, Ind., was arrested on a Writ of Attachment. His bond was set at $1,000 cash only. Greene County Jail Officer Bruce Porter was the arresting officer.
