/New arrests on the morning Jail Log at the Greene County Sheriff’s Department:
- April 11 – Holly Ann Snider, 39, Bloomington, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on a warrant issued for failure to appear in a case involving misdemeanor domestic battery. She was released later the same day on her own recognizance.
- April 11 – Lisa Jean Archer, 33, Lyons, Ind., was arrested on a warrant issued on preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy David Elmore was the arresting officer.
- April 11 – Gregory J. Brandon, 41, Lockport, Ill., was arrested on a preliminary charge of misdemeanor battery. His bond was set at $500 surety with ten percent allowed. He was released on April 12 after posting bond. Bloomfield Deputy Marshal Marvin Holt was the arresting officer.
Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
