  • December 27, 12:03 a.m. – Heather Dawn Minks, 27, Linton, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine. She was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Heather Wood was the arresting officer.

  • December 27, 12:48 a.m. – Anthony Lee Minks, 34, Bloomfield, Ind., was arrested on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was being held without bond. Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Heather Wood was the arresting officer.

Defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. Individuals are booked into jail on warrants issued by courts or on “preliminary charges” based on recommendations of investigating or arresting officers. Charges may change when a new case is filed in court by the prosecutor who reviews the case and makes the charging decision.
