Beginning on or around June 13, State Road 67 will be closed to allow for seal coat operations. This closure will take place beginning at the intersection of SR 67 and SR 54. Crews will perform seal coat operations north on SR 67 to the US 231 intersection. Seal coat work is expected to be completed by the end of June, depending on weather conditions. The official detour for motorists is State Road 54 to US 231.

Today, the community bids farewell to a remarkable man whose life was a harmonious blend of music, entrepreneurship, and unwavering dedication to his family and those around him. Robert Lee Burris, affectionately known as Bob, the beloved patriarch of The Burris Family and pillar of the local business community, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2024, at the age of 86.
Donna Jo McNabb, 80, of Jasonville, IN passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loving family.
Robert "Robbie" Lee Boldrey, age 49, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 9:25 am on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Greene County General Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Linton, IN on October 11, 1975, the son of Kathy Boldrey.
Mary Elaine (Chapman) Flater, 82, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Sugar Grove Senior Living in Plainfield, Indiana. She was born in Wyandotte, Michigan, on December 17, 1941, to Paul Eugene Chapman, Sr. and Evelyn Mae (Bledsoe) Chapman Baize, after the passing of her father, Paul, she was raised by Donald C. Baize. On December 24, 1961, Mary became the wife of Jackie Glenn Flater.
Randy G. Raney, 67 of Worthington, Indiana, went to heaven on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his home. He was born in Dugger, Indiana on November 6, 1957 to Kenneth E. and Nedra J. (Wilson) Raney. Randy married his loving wife, Jodeana S. (Bough) Raney on August 7, 1981.
Larry Douglas "Doug" Johnson, age 76, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 1:30 am on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at home. He was born in Highland Park, Michigan on July 19, 1948, the son of Eugene & Carol J. (Reno) York and Larry Edward Johnson.

James "Jim" Hanna, age 65, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at 11:00 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at home. He was born in Portland, ME on February 3, 1959, the son of Conrad E. & Margaret R. (Collins) Hanna.
William E. "Bill" Hooker, Jr., age 74, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 He was born on June 3, 1950 in Terre Haute Indiana to William E. “Gene” and Alverna Mae (Gustin) Hooker.
