Beginning on or around June 13, State Road 67 will be closed to allow for seal coat operations. This closure will take place beginning at the intersection of SR 67 and SR 54. Crews will perform seal coat operations north on SR 67 to the US 231 intersection. Seal coat work is expected to be completed by the end of June, depending on weather conditions. The official detour for motorists is State Road 54 to US 231.

Marley Thompson, age 90, of Springville, passed away peacefully at 5:40 am on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital. She was born in Durango, CO on June 23, 1935, the daughter of Claude Brooks & Mary Ellen (Curry) Brooks.
Jeff "Pedro" Stockrahm, 71, of Vicksburg, peacefully entered Heaven at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, where he was reunited with his beloved wife, Leann, and those who went before him. Born on February 10, 1955, in Sullivan, he was the son of Carl and Alice Jean (Bedwell) Stockrahm.
Todd Allen Parker, age 55, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on June 8, 2026, at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Robert Earl Starnes, 89, of Lyons, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at his residence. Born May 26, 1937 in Worthington, he was the son of William Cecil and Emma Texanna (Kilpatrick) Starnes.
Mary Rachel Collins passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of faith, compassion, music, and service that touched generations of family, friends, and community members.
Charles "Les" McAnally, 86, of Hymera, IN passed away at 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 28, 1940 in Sullivan County, IN to Samuel McAnally and Hazel (Dean) McAnally.
Dwight M. Gould, 92, of Linton, Indiana, went to Heaven with family by his side, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Autumn Trace Assisted Living in Linton. He was born in Lyons, Indiana on September 22, 1933, to Asel Benjamin and Cecil Mae (Stewart) Gould. Dwight married the love of his life, Janet Joan (Bedwell) Gould on April 19, 1955.
Barbara L. Reed, 83, of Linton, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Serenity Spring Senior Living in Jasonville, surrounded by the quiet comfort of her family.
Veola M. Gabbard, age 102, called Vee by family, friends and neighbors all her life, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 5, 2026. She was born on September 29, 1923, in Yemassee, South Carolina, the daughter of Andrew & Laura (Hern) Holt.
Carol Joy (Powers) Russell, loving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother & Great Great Grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at her home. She was 89. Carol was a wonderful, unselfish, loving, beautiful, strong Christian Woman. The Lord and her family were always top priority and she instilled these values in her children & grandchildren. Carol is now enjoying the peace & tranquility of being with Jesus, her family & friends who have gone before her. Carol was born to Clarence & Fern (Bentley) Powers in Indianapolis Indiana on August 3, 1936.
