Barbara Ann Vandagrifft-Figg, 50, Solsberry, was arrested by Detective David Elmore of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, December 6.

Back on Thursday, December 2, GCSD deputies served an eviction notice to Vandagrifft-Figg which ordered her to have all her personal belongings off a property no later than noon on Saturday, December 4. But on Monday, December 6, Vandagrifft-Figg was found on the property located on North Watkins Springs Road, Solsberry.

Detective Elmore reported that when he talked to Vandagrifft-Figg on the scene, she agreed she was not supposed to be on the property without permission of the owner and that if she was found on the property, she could be charged with criminal trespassing.

Vandagrifft-Figg was taken into custody and transported to the Greene County Jail where she allegedly said she knew the property owner had called the sheriff’s department on her, but she was trying to load up as much as possible before deputies arrived.

Vandagrifft-Figg’s bond was set at $1,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed. She posted $100 and was released later the same day as her arrest.

Vandagrifft-Figg has been charged with criminal trespassing, a Class A misdemeanor.
