Warming centers open as cold weather sets in
/As dangerously cold temperatures are forecast for Greene County this weekend, several public libraries will serve as designated warming centers to provide residents with a safe place to stay warm.
According to Greene County Emergency Management, the following warming centers will be open during regular library hours:
Linton Public Library

Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m.–5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.
Jasonville Public Library

Hours: Monday and Wednesday, 1–7 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
Bloomfield Public Library
