Wanted: Man convicted of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon in Linton gunfire incident
/There’s a warrant out for the arrest of a man convicted of criminal recklessness in the incident of gunfire in Linton last May. After getting a deal, then asking for a delay before he had to turn himself in to serve his time, the guy didn’t show up at the jail. Whereabouts unknown.
Bradon M. Graham, 19, is wanted. Formerly from Linton, court records now show him with a post office box in Dugger as his address.
Detective James O’Malley of the Greene County Sheriff’s Department was the lead investigator into the shooting incident that occurred on May 24, 2018. Now he’s investigating Graham’s failure to report to the jail.
During a hearing in Greene Circuit Court on Wednesday, April 10, Graham admitted guilt and was convicted of criminal recklessness, a Level 6 felony. He was sentenced to two years in the Greene County Jail with all but 300 days suspended. The court specified that he would serve the first 90 days in jail with the rest to be served on work release as long as he’s eligible.
O’Malley said at Graham’s request, the court agreed to delay the start of Graham’s going into jail to serve his time, until 1 p.m. last Tuesday, April 16. Graham was ordered to turn himself in at the jail no later than that time on that date.
He didn’t show up.
O’Malley was called in to investigate and says that Graham’s whereabouts are unknown.
So a new criminal case was filed against Graham last Thursday and a warrant for his arrest was issued the same day on a preliminary charge of escape – knowingly or intentionally violates a home detention order, a Level 6 felony.
