Tornado rated EF2 after storms tear through Greene County
/The National Weather Service has preliminarily rated Friday’s tornado as an EF2, which caused significant damage in Linton and surrounding areas in Greene County.
According to preliminary findings, the tornado was on the ground from 6:44 to 7:06 p.m., with estimated wind speeds reaching up to 128 mph. The tornado tracked approximately 14 miles and had a maximum width of 200 yards.
Three injuries and one death have been attributed to the storm.
