Linton man sentenced to 13 years in prison for dealing methamphetamine

On the night of his arrest in late April, a Linton man accused of dealing methamphetamine led Greene County Drug Task Force officers and ISP troopers on a chase, rammed a trooper’s vehicle, drove through a yard, crashed into a porch then fled on foot. He’s been in jail since then. On Wednesday, he pleaded guilty to dealing meth and was sentenced to 13 years.

Suspected meth dealer from Linton still in jail – with a bond set at $100,000

In late April, when an officer attempted a traffic stop on a man suspected of dealing methamphetamine in Greene County, the man refused to stop and fled in his vehicle. When he encountered a couple of state troopers, he rammed into one of their vehicles before driving through a yard and crashing into someone’s porch. He got out and ran, but was apprehended by a trooper in pursuit. He was booked in to the Greene County Jail in late April and he’s still there – his bond is set at $100,000 surety with ten percent allowed. It would take $10,000 cash to bond out.
