UPDATE: When Davison appeared in Greene Superior Court on Monday, June 24, for his initial hearing, his bond was set at $25,000 surety with ten percent cash allowed.

A Linton man accused of dealing methamphetamine was arrested Wednesday night and is being held without bond pending his appearance in court. The arrest came as a result of an investigation by the Greene County Drug Task Force.

Mark Aaron Davison, 56, of Linton, was taken into custody by Officer Joe Riley of the Linton Police Department and booked into the Greene County Jail at 8:12 p.m. on Wednesday, June 19.

A sealed warrant was issued for Davison’s arrest when a criminal case was filed against him in Greene Superior Court earlier in the day on Wednesday.

At that time, Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw requested a seal on the case which was ordered by Magistrate Lucas Rudisill.

Hours later, Davison was arrested and yesterday, on Thursday, June 20, the seal was lifted.

According to a probable cause affidavit prepared by an investigator with the prosecutor’s office, Davison has been selling methamphetamine out of his house in Linton located on 8th Street SW.

The investigator reported they have audio and video evidence that Davison sold meth in two different transactions earlier this spring.
