State Road 59 between Clay City and Jasonville scheduled to reopen by end of month
/Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) maintenance crews have been working diligently on State Road 59 near County Road 1250 South and County Road 1300 South, between Clay City and Jasonville, after extreme rains washed out a portion of the roadway earlier this Spring.
According to a social media update from INDOT, crews are filling the area with gravel and replacing pipes. Crews will finish by repaving the road, which is anticipated to be completed by the end of the month, weather permitting.
