Road closure planned for State Road 48 in Greene County
/The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 48 in Greene County. Beginning on or around Monday, April 27, crews will close State Road 48 near Jasonville. This closure will occur between County Road 800 W and County Road 900 W over Howesville Ditch.
This road closure will allow for a bridge deck overlay project. Work is expected to last through the beginning of July, depending on the weather.
The official detour for this project is State Road 59 to State Road 54 to U.S. 231 to State Road 157. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure. INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones.
