Greene County residents will have an opportunity later this month to learn more about Prometheus Energetics and its plans for a solid rocket motor and energetics manufacturing campus in the county, which is set to open in 2027.

Prometheus Energetics will host a Community Open House at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Heshey Hall at the Greene County Community Event Center, 4503 W. State Road 54 in Bloomfield.

Several members of the Prometheus team, including company leadership and those involved in planning the Greene County campus, are expected to attend.

The evening will begin with a brief company overview covering what Prometheus makes and what it plans to build in Greene County. An open question-and-answer session will follow, allowing community members to ask company representatives questions directly. Attendees may also stay afterward for one-on-one conversations with team members.

The event is free and open to everyone, and no RSVP is required. Light refreshments will be provided.
