The Indiana Department of Transportation announces moving lane closures for I-69 for pavement and bridge approach repairs from U.S. 231 to I-64.

Beginning on or around Wednesday, April 15, contractors will begin restricting the north and southbound passing lanes on I-69 at various locations from U.S. 231 in Greene County I-64 in Vanderburgh County for pavement and bridge approach repairs. Closures will happen one location at a time on the near 70-mile stretch and during operations the north and southbound driving will be open at all times.

Work is expected to last until mid-October depending upon weather conditions. Lanes will be restricted to 11-feet and work zones could be up to 10 miles long depending on the nature of the work being performed. Drivers should prepare for delays as work zone speed limits will be lower. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
