Ongoing investigation: Three found deceased in southeastern Greene County Friday night

Since Friday night, the Greene County Sheriff’s Department has been investigating the deaths of three people in southeastern Greene County. The investigation is ongoing.

GCSD Major George Dallaire reported that around 5:30 p.m. Friday, April 16, the sheriff’s department received a call that three people were found deceased in a residence on South Mountain Springs Road in rural southeastern Greene County. Deputies responded to the scene.

Two of the deceased individuals have been identified as Mason George, 22, and Jessica Bixler, 21. The third individual is a 14-year-old male whose name has not yet been released.

This incident is still under investigation and additional details have not yet been released.

According to Maj. Dallaire, autopsies were scheduled to be performed today at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute.

Both Greene County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Police personnel are actively involved in the investigation.
