Man arrested on felony charges after domestic

A Linton man is facing felony charges of strangulation and confinement that occurred during a domestic altercation on Sunday night.

Logan Storm Miller

Logan Storm Miller, 20, Linton, was arrested by Lieutenant Bobby Pierce of the Linton Police Department on Sunday night, May 29.

Lieutenant Pierce and LPD Officer Cayden Walker responded on Sunday night to talk to a woman who said she was living with her boyfriend, Logan Miller, in Linton when he ‘head butted’ her leg then placed his hand over her mouth and nose. She said she kept trying to move his hands because she was unable to breathe and he finally removed them.

According to a report by Lieutenant Pierce, she decided to leave for her safety but Miller took her keys and her phone. Once she was able to retrieve her keys and phone and was leaving, she said he attacked her vehicle and tried to break the windows. She was able to leave and met the officers in a parking lot.

When the officers went to the residence where the altercation had occurred, they talked to Miller, who allegedly admitted all of the events were true, saying he did ‘head butt’ the woman in the leg and he didn't know why he did this.

He allegedly said she was crying and wouldn't be quiet so he held his hand over her face and nose but let go when she said she couldn't breathe.

Miller allegedly admitted taking her phone and keys but after she got them back and went to the driveway and got in her car, he said he jumped on the hood of her car and started punching the windows.

Miller was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail at 8:41 PM with bond set at $9000 surety with 10% cash allowed. As of late Wednesday, Miller had not posted bond and remained in custody.

A criminal case has been filed against Miller in Greene Superior Court. He is facing charges of:

  • Strangulation, a Level 6 felony,

  • Confinement, a Level 6 felony, and

  • Domestic battery, a Class A misdemeanor.
