Linton Water Department – Hydrant Flushing Notice

Beginning Sunday, October 5, the Linton Water Department will flush fire hydrants throughout the city. This process will take four consecutive nights to complete.

Flushing will occur nightly from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., finishing by 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 9.

During flushing, customers may notice temporary discoloration of their water. To avoid staining white or light-colored clothing, we recommend limiting laundry use while flushing is underway.
