Linton to host annual Clean Up Day for residents
/The City of Linton will host its annual Clean Up Day on Saturday, April 18, offering residents an opportunity to dispose of unwanted items and help improve the community’s appearance.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Greene County Recycling Center’s Linton site on 12th Street. A rain date has been scheduled for Saturday, April 25.
Participation is limited to City of Linton residents.
Officials noted that certain items will not be accepted at the recycling center, including televisions, computers, batteries and hazardous materials such as paint and oil.
City leaders encourage residents to take advantage of the event as a way to clean up their properties while contributing to the overall upkeep of the community.
