Law Enforcement Appreciation Day scheduled next week
/Law Enforcement Appreciation Day – observed on Jan. 9 – offers the public an opportunity to thank the men and women who put their lives on the line daily to serve and protect.
Since 2015, the day has been set aside to thank officers across the country for their daily sacrifices. Community members can show their support in many ways such as sending a thank you note to their local department, wearing blue, or shining a blue porch light.
GreeneStreets would like to express sincere gratitude for the men and women who work tirelessly to keep the residents of Greene County safe. We encourage others to take a moment to say thank you as well.
