Lane closure planned for U.S. 231 in Greene County

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a lane closure for U.S. 231 in Greene County.

Beginning on or around Monday, October 5, crews will close the southbound lane of U.S. 231 near Worthington. This lane closure will occur between County Road 60 East and County Road 990 North.

This lane closure will allow box culvert maintenance. Work is expected to last through the end of October, depending on the weather.

One lane of traffic will remain open during this project. Traffic flow will be controlled with a temporary traffic signal. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
