A Jasonville woman accused of abandoning farm animals failed to appear in court after being summoned, so a warrant was issued for arrest. She was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon.

Erin Ruth Clark, 42, was booked in to the Greene County Jail around 2 p.m. Tuesday by Greene County Sheriff’s Deputy Terry Wade.

Her bond was set at $5,000 surety with ten percent allowed.

When she appears for an initial hearing in Greene Superior Court, she will be charged with cruelty to an animal, a Class A misdemeanor.
