Internet outage limits payments to cash only at Shakamak State Park

Visitors to Shakamak State Park should plan to bring cash after an internet outage temporarily disabled the park's ability to process credit and debit card transactions.

Park officials said internet service is currently unavailable throughout the park because a fiber optic line was cut outside the park.

As a result, all park facilities are currently accepting cash payments only until service is restored.

Officials apologized for the inconvenience and thanked visitors for their patience while crews work to restore internet service.
