Greene County Ambulance Service adds new ambulance to fleet

The Greene County Ambulance Service has expanded its fleet with the addition of a new ambulance that will soon begin serving residents in Linton.

According to the ambulance service, the new unit will be placed into service as E3 in Linton, strengthening emergency medical response capabilities throughout Greene County.

Officials said the new ambulance represents an investment in both emergency responders and the communities they serve by ensuring crews have reliable, up-to-date equipment when responding to emergencies.

"Our new ambulance will help us continue our mission of providing safe, reliable and high-quality emergency medical care throughout Greene County," the department said in a social media announcement.
