Grant funding helps Linton Fire Department purchase chest compression system
/The Linton Fire Department has purchased a LUCAS 3 Chest Compression System with grant funding from the Greene County Foundation.
The device is designed to provide consistent, high-quality chest compressions during cardiac arrest emergencies, allowing responders to continue lifesaving efforts while performing other aspects of patient care.
Department officials said the technology will strengthen the department’s emergency response capabilities and help responders provide patients with the best possible care when every second matters.
The department thanked the Greene County Foundation and others who support its mission, noting that their generosity allows the department to continue investing in equipment, training and resources to serve the community.
