The Greene County Sheriff’s Department reports the missing teen has been located. Deputy David Elmore, the investigating officer, said Anthony Thomas was located safe in Newberry this evening, Thursday, March 7. GCSD was assisted by the Greene County Juvenile Probation Department and Community Corrections.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department is asking for help from the public in locating a missing juvenile who they say is a runaway.

Anthony Christopher Thomas, 15, was last seen in Lyons wearing a navy blue winter coat, tan pants and red, white and black tennis shoes.

Anthony has short ear-length hair that is straight and black in color.

Anthony has no facial hair, wears glasses and is of medium build, approximately 5’ 9” tall, 160 pounds.

His destination is unknown.
