Case Update: Henico appears in court Monday morning via video conference from jail
/A 39-year-old Linton woman accused of having an inappropriate sexual relationship with a 14-year-old remains in the Greene County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
Jeri Sue Henico appeared in Greene Circuit Court at 11:30 a.m. Monday by video conference between the courtroom and the jail. As of mid-day Monday, Henico had not posted bond.
She was arrested on Thursday night, August 23, by Detective Paul Clark of the Linton Police Department after a swift investigation into allegations of sexual encounters with a juvenile.
During her initial hearing, Henico was charged with five counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, all Level 5 felonies.
With Judge Erik Allen presiding, Henico was ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim in this case.
Greene County Prosecutor Jarrod Holtsclaw represented the State, and Deputy Public Defender Ellen Martin was appointed by the court to represent Henico.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled to take place in December and a trial by jury is currently set for January 8, 2019.
