Cars for a Cause selects Greene County Humane Society as February partner

Bob Walters Linton Motors has named the Greene County Indiana Humane Society as its February partner for its monthly Cars for a Cause community support initiative.

Throughout the month of February, Bob Walters Linton Motors will support the local animal shelter through monetary donations tied to vehicle services and sales, as well as the collection of much-needed supplies.

As part of the initiative, the business will donate $5 for every oil change and $10 for every alignment completed during February. In addition, for every vehicle sold during the month, a bag of dog or cat food will be donated to the Greene County Humane Society.

The business is also accepting donations of supplies to benefit shelter animals. Requested items include Purina dog chow, Purina puppy chow, Purina cat chow, Purina kitten chow, bleach, paper towels, dish soap, liquid laundry detergent, Tidy Cat litter, Nyla bones and Kong toys.

Organizers say the Cars for a Cause program is designed to support local nonprofit organizations while encouraging community involvement and awareness.

Community members are invited to participate by donating items or supporting the initiative through routine vehicle services or purchases during the month of February. All donations collected will be delivered directly to the Greene County Humane Society to assist with the care of animals in need.

The Cars for a Cause program highlights a different local nonprofit each month through donations, drop-off opportunities and community outreach.
