C2C Back-to-Schoolooza is quickly approaching

Families are invited to attend a free back-to-school giveaway later this month hosted by C2C.

The event will take place Sunday, July 26, from 1 to 4 p.m., and will provide free socks, underwear and other essential back-to-school items to help local children prepare for the upcoming school year.

The giveaway is open to everyone.

Community members who would like to support the effort are encouraged to donate new back-to-school supplies. Monetary donations are also being accepted and may be made by stopping by Second Time's the Charm during regular business hours or by visiting the organization's Facebook page for additional ways to contribute.

Organizers expressed their appreciation to Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, United Way of South Central Indiana, Paragon Force, Persimmon Tree Foods and Gifts, and Second Time's the Charm for helping ensure local children have the supplies they need to start the school year prepared.
