A Bloomfield woman who was arrested early Saturday, June 23, after a night out celebrating her birthday, bonded out of jail. Less than a week later, she was arrested again, on Thursday, June 28.

After the first arrest, with bond set at $500 surety with ten percent allowed, she was released the same day as her arrest after she posted $50 cash. After this latest arrest, she was being held without bond pending her appearance in court.

Her latest arrest was on a warrant issued in an previous case, initially filed after an incident that occurred in March of 2017.

Hart was charged with battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor.

She was convicted on August 2, 2017 and sentenced to one year in the county jail. But she was given credit for four days served and 355 days were suspended.

She was still on probation in that case when she was arrested on June 23 and last Wednesday, June 27, the Greene County Probation Department filed a petition to revoke her suspended sentence. The next day, on June 28, a warrant was issued for her arrest and she was back in custody the same day.

It’s expected Hart will be appearing in court this week for hearings in both cases.
