Bloomfield Police Department executes warrant
/The Bloomfield Police Department arrested a male in the early morning hours of May 4 on an out-of-county warrant.
Bloomfield Police Department Deputy Marshal Jordan Brant located and apprehended 46-year-old James Robert Jackson at a residence on South Franklin Street in Bloomfield.
According to a news release from the Bloomfield Police Department, Jackson was wanted on an active warrant issued May 1 by Lawrence County Superior Court 2 for failure to appear on multiple drug-related charges. The charges include possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of a syringe, possession of paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle while suspended with a prior conviction.
Brant executed the arrest without incident, with assistance from Greene County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jordan Allor and Deputies Aynsley Miller and Andrew Shelton. Jackson was transported to the Greene County Jail.
