William H. Jackson, 93, of Bloomfield passed away Tuesday January 11, 2022 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born April 20, 1928 in Greencastle, Indiana the son of Robert Hardesty and Juanita (Manning) Jackson.

William was retired from the coal mine after twenty-six years; he was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Masonic Lodge # 29 and American Legion Post 106.

Surviving relatives include his three boys, Ricky (Nikki) Jackson of Jasonville, Eric Jackson of Tennessee, Sonny (Tami) Jackson of Bloomfield, one daughter, Brenda (Tom) Siebel of Bloomington, he has two step daughters Marcia (Robin) Strain, Belinda K. Mitchell, fourteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and one sister Emily Donahue.

William was preceded in death by his wife Harriett Jo Jackson on April 26, 2020 and his parents.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Lebanon Cemetery.
