William “Bill” Young, 90, of Bloomfield passed away Saturday March 17, 2018, at the IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Born June 9, 1927, in Stinesville, Indiana, the son of Clint “Cracker” and Lettie (Tucker) Young.

Bill was retired from Ralph Rogers as a truck driver, he was a U.S Marine and a member of the Bloomfield American Legion Post #196.

Surviving relatives include his three daughters, Vicki Isom of Monticello, Jeanie (Larry) Young of Bloomfield, Lisa Young of Nashville, Tennessee; one son David (Yvette) Rollins of Hobbieville, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, his siblings, Leva Young, Bea Franklin, Leona Shephard and Lucile (Jerry) McHaley.

Preceded in death by his parents, first wife Carol Young, his second wife Betty Young, siblings, Ira and Tom Young, Ada Layman and a grandson Jake Liford.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 P.M. on Monday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and 12 P.M. on Tuesday until the hour of service at the Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday at Jenkins Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Owensburg Cemetery.
