Wayne McCammon, age 78, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 11:20 am on Sunday, June 12, 2022, at his residence. He was born in Pleasantville, IN on September 10, 1943, the son of Lee & Mearl (Keller) McCammon.

He worked as a planner scheduler at Crane and retired after working there for 50 years. He loved building houses and working on cars.

Wayne is survived by his loving children, Gregory McCammon of Linton and DeeAnn (Dane Shelton) Boatright of Linton; grandchildren, Seth Boatright, Alyssa Boatright, Jamie Boatright and Jaclyn (Chris) Moore; 5 great grandchildren with one on the way as well as siblings, Jim McCammon, Lois Sweitzer, Pat Spencer, Donna Bedwell and Linda Fierla.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sarah Christine “Chris” McCammon and siblings, Joyce Graves, Glen Scott, Shirley McCammon and Reva Gatz.

Private services will be observed by the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton.
