Virginia Lucille ‘Betty’ Hale, 91, of Linton, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her residence with her family by her bedside. She was born on July 1, 1927 in Linton, Indiana to Earl Ervin and Mary Alice (Miller) Weaver. She was the last survivor of thirteen children. She married to Bobby B. Hale on December 2, 1946 and enjoyed a life with him for 56 years.

Betty had worked for Keller Aluminum Linton Plant for many years before it’s closing in 1992. She enjoyed attending church when possible and was of Pentecostal faith. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Family left to cherish her memory is: her son, Kenneth Hale of Linton; grandson, Travis Hale of Linton, great-granddaughter, Alexandria Hale.

Betty was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Bobby B. Hale; son, David Hale; five brothers, seven sisters.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery in Linton with Ken Coffman officiating. There will be no public visitation.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Diabetes Foundation in memory of Betty.
