Verlin A. Rehmel, 67, of Worthington, IN passed away at 12:00 A.M. Sunday, December 19, 2021 in IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington, IN. He was born August 31, 1954 in Clay County, IN to Orvan L. Rehmel and Susan J. (Stevenson) Rehmel.

Survivors include his children,  Israel Rehmel (Marie) of Spencer, IN, Caleb Rehmel of Hymera, IN, Michal Hale (Chad) of Gosport, IN; grandchildren, Isaac Rehmel,  Ezra Rehmel, Trista Rehmel, Kiva Rehmel, Eva Hale, Danni Hale; siblings, Carolyn Crosley (Ron) of Rockville, IN, Gerald Rehmel (Amy) of Ellettsville, IN, Duane Rehmel of Jasonville, IN, Jane Stout of Jasonville, IN, Kriss Rehlmel of Jasonville, IN; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother in-law, Bill Stout.

Verlin graduated Shakamak High School Class of 1972. He loved to ride motorcycles, play the guitar and enjoyed tinkering with his cars when he was younger.

Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Visitation is scheduled from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. Thursday, December 23, 2021                at the Funeral Home. Services are immediately following at 2 P.M. with Pastor Boonie Hodges officiating.

Interment will be at West Lawn Cemetery in Farmersburg, IN.
