Tina Marie (Cox) Collins, age 62, of Linton, passed away peacefully at 7:29 A.M. on Monday, June 21, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Linton on August 23, 1958.

Tina was a 1976 graduate of Linton-Stockton High School. Throughout the years Tina worked at Greene County General Hospital, Linton-Stockton Schools, babysat for many years, and was a sales associate at Walmart.

She was a member of Linton First Baptist Church, former member of the Psi Iota Xi Sorority, and active as a Shrine lady.

She enjoyed shopping, Linton Miner sports, going to casino's, and gathering together with her family.

Tina is survived by her husband of 44 years, Bill Collins, three daughters, Heather (Josh) Kearby, Holly (Brock) Boyd, and Haley (Matt) McDonald, all of Linton, 7 grandchildren, Zach, Zander, Shaelynn (Philip), Dominick, Bailey (Mason), Zayne, and Ty, sisters, Sharren (Don) Anderson, Belldonna (Dennis) Hancock, Teresa (Dan) Carpenter, and Judy Sullivan, all of Linton, three brothers, Glenn (Cheryl) Cox, Larry (Anna) Cox, and Rodney (Luann) Cox, all of Florida, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Cox, Mother and Step-Father, Marylou and Leo Conklin, and a brother, Owen Cox.

Funeral Service will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, June 25, 2021, with Reverend J.D. Rose officiating.

Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 4-8 P.M., and Friday from 10 A.M. until the time of service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Linton Miner Athletics through the funeral home.
