Thomas Smith
/Thomas Smith, 82, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at his residence on September 12, 2018. Thomas was born on July 24, 1936, in Indianapolis to Russel and Wilma (Heaton) Smith.
Thomas was the owner of National Tuner Service, an Insurance and Real Estate Agent and retired from N.S.W.C. as an Electronic Technician. Thomas was a member of the First Baptist Church in Worthington, the N.R.A., a life-long horseman and member of the Company "I" Cavalry.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Martha, Children, Debra Cundiff of Worthington, Thomas M. (Judy) Smith of Worthington, step-daughters, Susan (Jennifer) McGlauchlen of Panama City Beach, Florida, and Sunny Proctor of Bloomfield, grandchildren, Kyla (Brandon) Slone, of Indianapolis, Jessica (Josh) Bosell of Worthington, Sean Sargent of Bloomington, Brianne Fisher of O'Fallon, Missouri, Rylan Turpin of Bloomfield, Jordan Proctor of Panama City Beach, Florida, Shelsey Proctor of Bloomfield, eight great-grandchildren and aunt, Harriett Brooks of Battle Mountain, Nevada.
Thomas was preceded in death by brother, Michael Smith, grandson Cory Hyde, and son-in-law Glen Cundiff.
A private service will take place at a later date. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the home health care nurses, Babbs and Bonnie, whom truly blessed Thomas with their love, care and support.
