Thelma L. Plummer, 96, of Linton, IN, passed away in Indianapolis, IN on June 17, 2018 at 2:15 a.m.  Thelma was born on December 20, 1921, in Bicknell, IN.  She was the daughter of Henry & Martha (VanHoose) Withycombe.  On June 10, 1939, she married Joe B. Plummer.  They had three children, Carolyn, Larry and Mickey.  Thelma was a homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother.  

Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn (Leroy) Hudson of Linton; two sons, Larry (Jean) Plummer of Linton and Mickey (Bonnie) Plummer of Indianapolis; Grandchildren, Kevin (Debbie) Hudson, Lisa French, Darlene Ellis, Amanda (Mike) Cayler, Kellee (Brent) Stevenson, Cory Plummer, Danielle (Doug) Leigh, Jeremy (Brooke) Plummer, Fathom Plummer and Leslie (Fred) Turnell; 27 great-grandchildren and 11 great great-grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Jean Bradley, her brothers, Stanley and Bob Withycombe and her great great-grandson, Charles Dean Vance.

Funeral services will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m with Reverend Kenneth Adams officiating.  Internment will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday.
