Sylvia Sue (Fulford) Ducharme, age 81 of Bloomfield, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 surrounded by her loving family in Bloomington. She was born in Edwardsport, IN on November 18, 1936, the daughter of the late Jonathan Ray & Onie (Green) Fulford. 

She owned a grocery store and restaurant while living in Knox county.  Later she and her husband Iven, co-owned Suburban Lawn and Garden Center in Linton for several years.  After selling the business she worked in retail including True Value Hardware, Ace Hardware, and Walmart.  Her last employment was as a cafeteria worker at WRV Schools in Lyons, IN.  She was of a member of the Edwardsport Christian Church.  

Survivors include her son, Paul (Caroline) Ducharme of Linton; daughter Nancy (Joe) Nolting of Bloomfield; grandchildren, Nathaniel Nolting, Brayden Nolting, Ashley (Ducharme) Colvin and Dakota Richmond; 2 great grandchildren and one due in September.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Iven P Ducharme whom she married on February 18, 1966, one brother, Edgar Fulford and one sister, Mary Ann (Fulford) Ozalas. 

Private services will be observed by the family. She will be buried in Edwardsport Cemetery in Edwardsport, Indiana.
