Susie Price Schulte of Bloomfield, passed away November 1, 2018 after a valiant fight with cancer. Born February 10, 1960 she was the daughter of Betty Lou (Inman) and Curtis Price Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband, Don Schulte, son Kurt Schulte, daughter Kari Schulte, and grandson Dillan Schulte all of Bloomfield. Extended family members include 3 brothers: Larry Price (Susie) of Solsberry, Ron Price of Bloomington, Jim Price (Robin) of Tennessee, and one sister Sandy Held (Greg) of Bloomfield. She was beloved aunt to Melissa Price and Jennifer Kinser both of Bedford, Eric and Leslie Price and Beth Callahan all of Solsberry, Cameron and Jared Price of Tennessee, Derrick Held of Bloomington, and Stephanie Held of Bloomfield, as well as great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Susie was a devoted wife, mother, mamaw, and retired educator. She invested over 27 years into the lives of many as a special education and physical education teacher at Bloomfield Elementary School. During her time there she also coached 11 seasons of varsity volleyball and a few seasons of junior high volleyball and basketball. Her contribution to the school, community, and the impact she had will never be forgotten. Her family meant the world to her and no one could ever doubt their value in her life.

A private service is being held by her family, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations in her honor be made to Bloomfield Elementary School through Jenkin’s Funeral Home. Her smile, laughter, and presence will be greatly missed.
