Steven Ray "Steve" Goble
Steven Ray “Steve” Goble, 53, of Shelburn, IN passed away peacefully at his home with his loving family by his side at 6 P.M. Monday, January 4, 2021. He was born August 31, 1967 in Brazil, IN to Sandra (Rehmel) Goble and Ray Goble who passed away February of 2000.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra Goble of Shelburn, IN; sister, Lisa Phipps (James) of Jasonville, IN; aunts, Judy White of Shelburn, IN, Lou Sharp of Hymera, IN, Cindy Rehmel of Jasonville, IN; Uncles, Bill Rehmel (Sonny) of Jasonville, IN, Larry Rehmel (Jacque) of Jasonville, IN; nephew, Dylan Phipps of Valdosta, GA and niece, Megan Phipps of Jasonville, IN and many cousins.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Ray Goble, grandparents, Robert & Pauline Rehmel, Dick & Charlotte Goble; aunts, Shirley Rissler, Vickie Rehmel; uncles, Robert (Son) Rehmel, Les Rissler, Floyd Sharp, Bill White, Joe Goble.
Steve was a truck driver and farmer for many years, He was a very hard worker and had the biggest heart and would give his last dime or the shirt off of his back to any one that needed it. The family of Steve Goble would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Kindred Hospice for the exceptional love and care given to Steve while he was under their care.
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana. Due to the Pandemic there will be Private Graveside Services at 2 P.M. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN with Pastor James Phipps officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in memory of Steve to Kindred Hospice, 2901 Ohio Boulevard, Suite 116, Terre Haute, IN 47802. Envelopes will also be available at the funeral home.
