Steven Michael Malone, 66, of Linton, Indiana passed away on November 9, 2021, at Greene County General Hospital with his parents by his side. He was born on March 5, 1955, the son of William Allan Malone and Shirley Ann (Shanklin) Malone.

Steven was a 1973 graduate of South Vigo High School, where he enjoyed playing football and wrestling. He started playing little league baseball at the age of 5 and Babe Ruth baseball, playing all in Terre Haute until the age of 18.

In his most recent years, he enjoyed golfing and winning the Golf Elks League twice, bowling, and fishing. He was a member of the Linton Elks Lodge #866 and served as an Exalted Ruler.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Patrick Malone, his maternal and paternal grandparents, uncles, an aunt, and a cousin.

Survivors include his parents; William Allan Malone and Shirley Ann Malone, Aunts; Sandy Ridge Fisher, Carolyn Gorney (Tony), niece; Shayna Chance, nephew, Kyle Malone, great nephew, Rowan Chance, several cousins, and extended special family; Stanley, Jordan, Tomi, Keeley, Angela, and Cara.

Graveside services for Steven Malone and Timothy Malone will be held at Grandview Cemetery on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Rick Swan officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Steven to the Linton Elks Lodge #866.
