Senora L. (Stremming) Roark
Senora L. (Stremming) Roark, 96, of Wheatland, Indiana, went to Heaven with family by her side, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Vincennes. She was born on November 9, 1927 in Westphalia, Indiana to Edward Henry ‘Duke’ and Pearl A. (Hagemeier) Stremming. Senora married the love of her life, John Glen Roark on June 14, 1947.
Senora was a member of the One Foundation Church in Wheatland. She was a homemaker and loved baking, especially her pies and bread. Senora was a good seamstress, she enjoyed playing the piano and spending time with her family.
Family left to cherish the memories of Senora include: five children, David Roark of Plainville, Janice L. (Butch) Keasling of Wheatland, Larry (LouAnn) Roark of Wheatland, Beverly (Jim) Adams of Wheatland and Phyllis (Joe) Holscher of Monroe City; thirteen grandchildren, Brad (Tonya) Roark, Keith (Tina) Roark, Travis (Brittney) Keasling, Brian (Sara) Keasling, Jonathan (Meghan) Roark, Andy (Britini) Roark, Daniel (Jessica) Roark, Angie (Josh) Hill, Melissa Adams, Elaina (Chris) Lavely, Scott (Andrea) Holscher, Jeremy (Kaylin) Holscher and Kevin (Amanda) Holscher; thirty-two great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Senora was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Glen Roark; daughter-in-law, Patti Roark; sisters, Ruth Roark and Wilhelmine Blackwell; brothers, Donald ‘Roy’ Stremming and Orval Stremming.
Funeral services to honor the life of Senora will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 4, 2024 at One Foundation Church in Wheatland, Indiana with Pastor Jarrod Chattin officiating. Senora will be laid to rest in Wheatland Cemetery.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2024 and from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Monday at the church.
