Saralee Bledsoe, age 68, of Linton Indiana, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis from injuries sustained in a car accident on January 3, 2025. She was born in Linton on November 11, 1956, the daughter of Virgil Bledsoe and Marjorie (Lucas) Bledsoe.

At the young age of 14, Saralee began her working career at Kluesmeiers Drive Inn. She was a waitress at the Town Meeting. She worked as a dispatcher at the Greene County Sheriff's Department and the Linton Police Department. Saralee was in the billing department at the Linton Daily Citizen, and then began working at the Greene County General Hospital in June of 1986 in the business office, where she was currently working for over 38 years. She prided herself on helping others no matter how long it took.

Saralee earned her bachelor's degree in Criminology and Political Science at Indiana State University.

Saralee was a member of the Saron United Church of Christ in Linton.

She enjoyed shopping, eating at new restaurants with her good friend, Ralph, and was the biggest Linton Miner Football fan!

She is survived by her sister, Laurelann (John) Bredeweg of Linton; brother, Tim Bledsoe of Linton; nephews, Daniel Bredeweg of Dana Point, California, Andrew (Danielle) Bredeweg of Linton; great nephew, Jacob Bredeweg; great niece, Emily Bredeweg; long time friend, Ralph Bennett, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Friday, January 24, 2025. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linton .

Visitation will be held at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, Indiana on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
