Sandy K. Vandeventer

Sandy K. Vandeventer, 75, of Bloomfield passed away Thursday October 11, 2018 at Gentry Park Living Center in Bloomington. Born December 9, 1942 in Vincennes, Indiana the daughter of James and Maxine (Pahlmeier) Brown.

Sandy was a homemaker and a teacher’s aid at Bloomfield School for many years, she was a member of the Antioch Christian Church and had 25 years in Bible Study Fellowship International.

Surviving relatives include her husband Ray Vandeventer of Bloomfield, four children, Tami (Rich) Spear of Hilton Head, South Carolina; Jeff (Kathy) Vandeventer of Columbus, Debbie (Steve) Luther of Hilton Head, South Carolina; Keith (LaDonna) Vandeventer of Columbus, Eight grandsons, 3 granddaughters, two great grandson, three sisters Mary Jo Brown of Indianapolis, Judy Beasley of Elnora and Beverly Schuckman of Freelandville.

Sandy was preceded in death by two brothers, James “Buster” Brown, Richard Brown and her parents.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 P.M. on Sunday at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield and 10 A.M. Monday until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Services will be held on Monday at 10:30 A.M. at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Rev. Arlen Pope officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
