Ruth H. Richardson, 85, of Bloomington passed away Saturday at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born June 1, 1937 in Center Township in Greene County the daughter of Paul Fairbanks Hudson and Bertha (Lucas) Hudson.

Ruth worked in customer service for Duke Energy, retiring in 1987, she attended the Bloomfield United Methodist Church.

Surviving relatives include her brother, Harry Hudson, nephews, Kenny Hudson, Scott Hudson, niece Judy Alton and through marriage several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends she loved dearly.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Richardson on June 1, 2019 and her parents.

Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. on Wednesday August 3, until the hour of service at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday at Jenkins Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Roach officiating. Burial will be private at Walnut Grove Cemetery.
