Ruel Allen Felton

Ruel Allen Felton, 95, of Solsberry, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born October 11, 1926 in Bloomington, he was the son of John Raul and Dorothy Alice (Pope) Felton.

He was a painter and heavy equipment operator for the Ralph Rogers Group in Bloomington. He served his country in World War II with the United State Army 10th Calvary Division.

Surviving relatives include: his children, Cheryl Dawn Felton of Solsberry, Carol Glasford of Worthington, Patrick Allen Felton of Solsberry, Timothy Wayne Fellton of Ellettsville, Carmen Marie Pike of Solsberry and Channon Joy Pate of Bloomfield; siblings, Julia Arlene Summitt, Lyril Nedra Chambers and Dale Leon Felton; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great, grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Marie Felton on April 24, 2018, nine brothers and sisters and his parents.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Jenkins Funeral Home in Bloomfield.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services on Thursday at the funeral home.

The family asks that all memorial contributions be made to IU Health Hospice House.
