Roy Edgar Mullis, 59, of Worthington, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Deaconess Gateway in Newburgh, Indiana. Roy was born in Linton, Indiana on August 2, 1962 to Jerry Lee Mullis and LaVada Rose (Ritter) Mullis.

Roy has worked at the Wabash Valley Correctional Center for over 27 years. He loved his spending time with his family at his cabin in Lyons, and dearly loved his grandchildren. Roy enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and going to the casino for entertainment.

Roy is survived by his mother, son, Edgar “Eddie” Lee Mullis(Faith Houshour), grandchildren, Trenten Michael Mullis, MacKenzie Marie Mullis, brothers, Michael Lee Mullis, Jerry Dale Mullis, sister, Regina Rose Mullis, aunt, Mary Garwood, niece, Taylor Renee VanArsdale, nephew, Jordan Wayne VanArsdale and many friends and extended family.

Roy was preceded in death by his father.
