Rosella Jane (Dyer) Moss passed away peacefully Friday, March 5, 2021. She was born in Greene County on October 3, 1930.

Thereafter, she and her family moved and lived several years in Sullivan County and, upon her marriage to Robert, moved back to Greene County. She graduated High School from New Lebanon. She worked several years at Gossard's in Sullivan and the Linton Utility office.

Jane is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moss; parents, Ermil and Jessie Dyer; brothers, Robert (Lois) Dyer and Bill (Sharon) Dyer and two of her sisters, Phyllis (Walter) Smith and Carol (Bruce) Copeland.

She is survived by one sister, Sharon (Terry) Marquis of Terre Haute; children, Debra Phegley of Fairport, NY, David (Beth) Phegley of Merom, IN, Terry (Brenda) Phegley of Mt. Carmel, IL and Steve (Cindy) Phegley of Dugger, IN; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law, Julia (George) Skeel.

Private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Rosella’s name to your local food pantry.
