Rosa Wilkie, age 69, of Spencer, formerly of Bloomfield, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer. She was born in Sullivan, IN on July 27, 1953, the daughter of Floyd & Lucille (Clark) Cox.

She worked as a CNA for most of her life and enjoyed taking care of people during their time of need. She also enjoyed shopping and visiting with friends and family.

She is survived by her brothers, Arthur Cox and Michael Cox; sister, Barbara Cox; children, Treva “Kim” Peters, Oakley Peters and Jesse Peters; grandchildren, Ashley Peters, Ke’loni Peters, Kei’nani Peters, Kei’yana Peters, Demetrius Peters, Camryn Peters, Adrian Peters and Annabelle Peters as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rebecca Lundy and brother, Floyd Cox.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton on Thursday, October 20, 2022 with Pastor Dave Tyra officiating. Burial will follow at Switz City Cemetery in Switz City.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
